The Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Massachusetts is a statewide organization committed to promoting the health and well-being of women, children, and families throughout communities in the Commonwealth. Formerly operating under the umbrella of the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition, our organization is now an independent nonprofit organization which provides an innovative forum for collaborative partnerships of public and private agencies, state and local policymakers, educators, employers, and consumers.

We advocate for

  • equal access to quality health care
  • the elimination of health disparities
  • respect for and the appreciation of diversity and the importance of cultural competence
  • a collective voice to facilitate change

  • Adolescent health

Join Us!

Your involvement will help women in Massachusetts get the support and information they need related to mental health and environmental health, and also help teens get information and access to health care for their reproductive health. Additionally, you will have access to educational opportunities that will help you get further information and skills to more adequately care for those in your community.

Partners in Perinatal Health
21st Annual Conference

The Healthy Mothers, Health Babies (HMHB) Coalition of Massachusetts and the Partners in Perinatal Health (PIPH) Conference Planning Committee are pleased to announce that Dr. Sandra Steingraber will be delivering the Morning Keynote Address at the 22nd annual PIPH Conference.

Dr. Steingraber is an ecologist, author and cancer survivor who is an internationally recognized authority on the environmental links to cancer and human health.  She will deliver an inspiring and thought-provoking presentation on the impact of environmental toxins on pregnant women and their infants, offering concrete and specific strategies for reducing this exposure in the home, the hospital and the office.
